Job DescriptionTime Type:Full timeRole Details:SUMMARY
Responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and
troubleshooting of our complex network infrastructure, encompassing
routing, switching, firewalls, SD-WAN, voice and wireless
technologies. - This role requires a deep understanding of network
protocols, security best practices, and a passion for delivering
reliable and efficient network solutions.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be
assigned.
- Design, configure, and deploy LAN/WAN infrastructure, including
routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues,
ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Develop and maintain network diagrams and documentation
- Provisions, monitors and maintains voice mail boxes and phone
equipment
- Perform regular network maintenance, including software
updates, patching, and configuration backups.
- Manage and maintain firewall rules and security policies.
- Implement and maintain network security measures, including
firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and
VPNs.
- Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Respond to security incidents and implement remediation
measures.
- Configure, maintain, and manage wireless networks, including
access points, controllers, and authentication systems.
- Perform wireless site surveys and optimize wireless
coverage
- Deploy, configure, and manage SD-WAN solutions to optimize WAN
performance and reduce costs.
- Troubleshoot SD-WAN connectivity and performance issues.
- Collaborate with other IS teams to ensure seamless integration
of network services.
- Provide technical support to end-users and resolve
network-related issues.
- Participate in on-call rotations as required.
- Contributes to a clean and safe work environment
- Follows Standard Operating Procedures while carrying out the
responsibilities of position
- Attends and participates in all department meetings and
company-sponsored management programs as requiredQUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,
or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in network engineering.

- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing
complex network infrastructures.
- Extensive experience with routing and switching protocols
(e.g., OSPF, BGP, VLANs, STP).
- Strong experience with firewall management (e.g., Fortinet,
Palo Alto Networks, Cisco ASA).
- Hands-on experience with SD-WAN technologies (e.g., Meraki
SD-WAN, VMware SD-WAN, Fortinet SD-WAN).
- Experience with wireless network technologies (e.g., Cisco
Meraki, Aruba, Ruckus).
- Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools (e.g.,
SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark).
- Strong understanding of network security principles and best
practices.
- Experience with VPN technologies (e.g., IPsec, SSL VPN).
- Experience with cloud networking technologies is a plus.
- Experience with network automation is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. -
- Strong documentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.WORK AVAILABILITY
- This position is an on-site work position.
- Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance, at such level
as is determined by management
- Must be regularly available and willing to work at least 8
hours per day, 40 hours per week or such other hours per day or
hours per week as the employer determines are necessary or
desirable to meet business needs
- Must be available and willing to work such weekends and
holidays as the employer determines are necessary or desirable to
meet its business needsTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- This position requires travel with overnight stays
- Must meet driver's license requirements as required by the
Company
- Must be able to legally obtain a rental vehicle in all states
in which the company does business
