Job Description:

The Precast Quality Control Manager is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance and control processes in a precast concrete manufacturing facility. This role ensures that all products meet industry standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. The manager will develop, implement, and maintain quality control programs, conduct inspections, and work closely with production teams to improve processes and product consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection processes for precast concrete production.


Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, production processes, and finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards (PCI, ASTM, DOT, etc.).


Maintain and oversee testing procedures, including strength tests, slump tests, and curing conditions.


Identify quality issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.


Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards, as well as customer specifications.


Train and supervise quality control personnel, ensuring adherence to best practices.


Maintain accurate quality control records, reports, and documentation.


Work closely with production, engineering, and project management teams to resolve quality concerns.


Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring continual improvement in quality processes.


Stay updated with industry advancements and implement best practices to enhance product quality.



Qualifications:

Experience in precast concrete manufacturing, quality control, or a related field.


Strong knowledge of precast industry standards, specifications, and testing methods.


Familiarity with PCI, ASTM, and DOT requirements.


Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.


Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills.
