• The Lead Surgical Technologist is responsible for planning and coordinating surgical care, demonstrating expertise in various surgical specialties, and providing guidance to other surgical technologists.
• Requirements include a high school diploma or GED equivalent, graduation from a surgical technologist program, or one year of experience as a surgical technologist in a hospital setting. Must maintain certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Tech in Surgery, Certified through the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).
