Locums - Austin, Texas, OB/GYN Hospitalist Job

• • Clinical Role:

    • Has APAY
    • Shifts per month needed, beginning when: Up to 10 shifts. 12 hour week nights and 12 or 24 hour weekends
    • Monday - Friday 7p - 7a and Saturday/Sunday are 24hrs
    • EMR: EPIC
    • Expected patients per day: 1 - 2 per 12 hour shift. This is an estimate as the hospital does not open until 2/20. It is a brand new facility
    • Total Hospital Deliveries (monthly avg.): 50
    • Total Hospital Deliveries (annual avg.): 600
    • Hospitalists Required to Perform Circumcisions? No
    • Hospitalists Needed for First Assist on occasion for privates requesting assistance on complex cases
    • No Hospitalists to Backup any other specialty
    • Backup Available to the Hospitalists
    • 8 Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) rooms
    • 5 Postpartum rooms
    • C-Section Operating Room
    • Nursery LeveL I
    • Anesthesia: On-Call 24/7
    • MFM: Refer out for MFM
    • Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible
    • Active TX License only
