Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Echo Technologist to perform non-invasive cardiovascular procedures, including adult echocardiography, TEEs, and pharmacologic/exercise cardiac stress testing.

As an Echo Technologist at St. David's Medical Center, you will be responsible for direct and indirect patient care, diagnostic tests, and maintaining a clean, efficient, and safe work environment. You will work closely with other healthcare team members to facilitate exceptional patient care and efficient completion of diagnostic studies.

Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Perform adult echocardiography, TEEs, and pharmacologic/exercise cardiac stress testing
  
• Provide direct and indirect patient care
  
• Maintain a clean, efficient, and safe work environment
  
• Work closely with other healthcare team members to facilitate exceptional patient care and efficient completion of diagnostic studies
  
• Participate in maintaining a safe environment
  
• Participate in unit activities and meet educational requirements
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
  • 
    
  • Associate Degree in Cardiac Sonography or equivalent
    
  • One year minimum experience as a Sonographer or equivalent work experience
    
  • Demonstrated proficiency in performing all aspects of adult/pediatric echocardiography procedures
    
  • Demonstrated ability to precept new employees and employees not meeting expectations
    
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer
    
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support
