Live Online Sales Chat.

Key Qualifications:
1. Experience interacting with customers in some capacity (either
via phone, chat, in person, etc.)
2. A passion for service focused on the customer
3. Able to adapt approach to different communication styles
4. Ability to manage multiple applications running at the same
time
5. Ability to manage multiple chats, engagements and tasks
simultaneously
6. Accurately type 45 WPM while talking with customers
7. Ability to learn technology quickly and adapt to changing
processes
8. Strong knowledge of computers and software savvy – MS Word,
Excel, Facebook, Twitter, Instant Messaging, and other
applications
9. Resourceful use of internet or other web based information to
find information quickly
10. Ability to identify customers? requests through written
communication and anticipate their needs
11. Consultative sales background preferred
12. Availability to attend approximately five to six weeks of
required training on a fixed schedule
13. Flexibility to work between the hours of 6:00 a.m. CST and 1:00
a.m. CST including weekends and holidays, with the possibility to
flex up or down hours depending upon business needs
14. Successful completion of a pre-employment assessment and
criminal background check
15. Successful completion of initial training
Description:
As a Marriott Live Chat Associate, you?ll be supporting many of our
popular brands within the Marriott family through live chat with
our guests related to reservations, rates, hotels, packages, and
more. As our customers? first point of contact, you?ll be the
friendly ?voice? of Marriott, providing world class customer
service to process all inquiries, requests, and reservations for
Marriott.com in accordance with Marriott?s sales guidelines. We?ll
rely on you to listen to our customers and use your technical
expertise, creativity, and passion to meet their needs — and remind
them that behind our great brands and hotels are amazing people.
